As racing in Melbourne and Sydney comes to an end, and eyes start drawing to Brisbane for the Winter Carnival, South Australia hosts its own Autumn Racing Carnival – and the highlight raceday goes ahead this weekend in the $300,000 Group 1 South Australian Derby (2500m).
Taking place at the illustrious Morphettville Racecourse, the 2010 South Australian Stakes is due to jump just before 3pm this Sunday, as one of eight fantastic races to go head.

Kidnapped, the third place finisher to Red Colossus in the Chairman’s Handicap is another contender at $4.80, despite drawing barrier 20.
Storm Brewing and Second King round out the odds for the top three favourites in the 2010 South Australian Derby, with odds of $7.50.
